Liz has been a stylist just over 20 years and loves every day like it was her first. She has worked in Vancouver, Calgary and in Vernon for the past 8 years. Whether you are looking for a sexy romantic look or an upbeat urban style, Liz would be pleased to give you that with an amazing color, haircut and style.

Dana has been in the hair industry since 1995. She has been a part of the Great Escape family since the salon opened 4 years ago. As a precision stylist she will take the time to create a desired look. Dana is a VeroColor (JOICO) technician and although she loves all aspects of hairstyling, hair color is her favorite. Renee has trained in the U.S. and has worked in Victoria before coming to Vernon. She has been a stylist for 7 years and as one of the younger members on our team she brings a youthfulness and vitality like no other. Renee uses both VeroColor (JOICO) and Biolglitz (FAROUK) to produce a variety of creative styles. While she loves to fashion new looks through colors and highlights she specializes in elegant and innovative wedding and graduation hair designs.

Cindy has been a stylist for 16 years and has worked at the Great Escape for the last 2 years. She specializes in Schwarzkopf colors and cutting techniques. Through the use Balmain hair extensions Cindy is able to offer clients a transformation in their look that is beyond belief. She believes in constant education and that ''everything changes''. Cindy credits knowledge and personality to make sure that the client feels like #1. She also affirms the statement, ''Don't abandon yourself in the face of adversity''.

Garnette has been a stylist for 3 years. She began her career in hairstyling in Calgary and has worked with our team since May 2006. Garnette is currently training to become a CHI educator and is able to provide clients with the latest color techniques and styles with the use of CHI ammonia free colors and CHI styling products. As one of our younger stylist, she brings an eagerness and savvy to her work that few stylists with more experience ever could. Garnette's specialty and passion is in makeovers.

Karen joined the staff of the Great Escape 3 years ago and has become an integral part of out team. As a fully certified esthetician, she believes in truly pampering her clients. While Karen is able to provide her clientele with all aspects of esthetics, her specialty is pedicures. Karen also is able to express her artistic creativity through makeup application and eyelash extensions. With her infectious laugh and her caring personality you will be sure to enjoy any esthetic service Karen has to offer.

Natasha has been a nail tech for almost 5 years and she absolutely loves it. She specializes in Sculptured Gel and Acrylic nails, as well as Fiberglass Wraps. Her goal is to create a nail enhancement that is suitable for each individual clients needs and lifestyle. While artificial nails are Natasha's main area of expertise, she also provides superior service in waxing, manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions and brow & lash tinting. Natasha's passion for this business shows through her nail art designs and the quality she puts for in her services.

Naseem has been in the industry for 3 years. She joined the Great Escape staff in July 2006. Acrylic and Gel nails, waxing, pedicures, manicures, and brow and lash tinting are the various professional services which Naseem performs. Very diligent in her craft, Naseem specializes in threading hair removal, a service exclusive to the Great Escape. Another service, not currently available in other area salons, which she offers, is henna tattoos (Mehandi). Henna tattoos are temporary tattoos lasting up to 2 weeks and are designed free hand, allowing Naseem to express her unique artistry. She invites you to come and experience her exceptional services.

Suzanna is the owner and operator of SOLACE Esthetics and Day Spa located in the Great Escape Hair Salon and Day Spa. Her Hungarian background gave Suzanna the opportunity to grow up experiencing natural thermal mineral waters and by receiving spa treatments from a young age, she developed her interest in Esthetics. With over 25 years of experience, including extensive education in Hungary, Germany, USA, and Canada, Suzanna chose the Okanagan to begin her own endeavor. She is customized in extensive European skincare and offers therapeutic German pedicures. Suzanna delivers all her esthetic services with a very high standard of customer service and hygiene. For the previous 8 years, Suzanna was the Senior Esthetician at the award winning Willow Stream Spa located in the Banff Springs Hotel, treating many celebrities and well known people from all over the world.
